Ban the group & page praying for Obama's DEATH from facebook!

dear readers,

there is a group and page on facebook actively PRAYING for obama's death. not only are they wishing him harm, they are doing so in the name of god. this is dangerous and appaling. these people who dare to call themselves followers of christ are promoting sheer hatred. by calling themselves christians, they are also promoting toxic and dangerous ideas about god and christianity. i am sick of horrible things like this being done in the name of god. jesus NEVER preached hate. god is love.

before you dismiss this petition, i ask you to remember that president obama has two very young children. what if his daughters saw these online? can you imagine how upset they'd be? no matter what you think of him politically, the president is still a person, a human being, like the rest of us...no one deserves such blatant, outright, hatred.

i also encourage you to report the group and page if you have a facebook. just copy and paste the  bolded words below into facebook's search bar. the report button is under the "links" portion of the front page.
